Rain Song Therapy
Welcome, I’m glad you are here.
My name is Rose Heineman, MA (she/her).
I’m a professional counselor associate and an art therapist.
When you find yourself carrying mental, emotional, and relational challenges and struggles, I can be a partner and collaborator helping to create solid ground to meet the self with compassion, and for heart-mind-relational healing.
I work with adults residing in Oregon via tele-health and for in-person sessions.
“When I feel supported, I can be myself.”
—quote from a former client
My Practice + Background
My counseling and art therapy practice centers around providing a safe space to create a sense of ease and well being, for authentic self-expression, relational support, and to tend to emotional & mental health needs. My practice honors developmental growth and change across the lifespan and our human capacity for creativity, insight, and life-long learning.
As a trained art therapist I've often heard adult clients say "I'm not an artist". I offer a judgement-free space and process oriented approach, along with compassionate guidance. Being an artist is not at all required and art making is always optional. I tailor my sessions to meet your specific needs and with ongoing consent.
My past experience includes work with children, teens, and adults experiencing grief and loss, chronic illness, trauma, life changes and transitions, relationship challenges, neurodiversity, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, parenting support, relational boundary needs, and systemic support.
I also have a background as an art and design professional. I am a parent to a ten year old, a trained yoga teacher, and a Dougy Center trained grief and loss facilitator.
I'd be honored to meet with you to see if we are a good fit. Please reach out for a free 15 minute consultation, click here.
